We are not a strict Montessori, Reggio, or Waldorf school. We borrow ideas that serve children well and combine them into an Autumn Ridge approach.

Simple, wholesome snacks
Real ingredients and simple recipes guide our snacks. We choose non-GMO ingredients and leave out enriched grains, seed oils, and artificial colors and flavors.

When is Autumn Ridge Preschool opening?
We are preparing to open this school year. The exact first day will be confirmed after property possession and the required business, safety, and childcare approvals are complete. Families on the founding list will receive that date first.
Can my 4- or 5-year-old choose the two-day Preschool class?
Yes. Preschool is for ages 3–5 and meets Tuesday + Thursday. Pre-K is for ages 4–5 and meets Monday + Wednesday + Friday. A 4- or 5-year-old may choose either schedule; three-year-olds attend the two-day Preschool class.
Is the morning class different from the midday class?
No. Both are full three-hour classes and use the same Autumn Ridge approach. The exact stories, projects, play, and outdoor experiences can naturally vary with the children in each group.
How many children will be in each class?
Autumn Ridge is being built as a small-group preschool. The final class cap will be published before enrollment is finalized, after the applicable Utah requirements, staffing, usable space, and property approvals are confirmed.
Is Autumn Ridge Montessori, Reggio, or Waldorf?
No single label describes the program. Autumn Ridge borrows useful ideas from Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, guided play, and nature-based learning, then combines them into our own practical, child-centered approach.
Is Autumn Ridge play-based or academic?
Children build early language, literacy, number sense, fine-motor, social, and independence skills through stories, conversation, games, art, building, dramatic play, movement, nature, and hands-on projects rather than long stretches of seatwork.
Does joining the founding list commit me to enrolling?
No. There is no deposit and no obligation to join the list. It simply puts you first in line for the confirmed opening date, teacher introduction, classroom tour, and enrollment release.
