A small, familiar place for grades 1–6 with Black Ridge school-day transportation built into the program, wholesome food, homework support when needed, outdoor play, and pickup through 6:30 PM.

How school days work
The goal is simple: cover the school/workday gap reliably without paying for full-day care you do not need.
Bring your child to Autumn Ridge for a full breakfast and calm morning time. We take Black Ridge students to school before the bell.
We pick up at Black Ridge, walk back together, have snack, offer homework help when needed, and leave plenty of room to play or unwind.
Children from other schools may join the after-school program if a parent or authorized adult brings them to Autumn Ridge after dismissal. We do not provide pickup from other schools, and before-school drop-off is only to Black Ridge.
After school should feel different from school
Quality afterschool care works best when children have supportive relationships, a predictable routine, activity and choice—not another long block of classroom time.
Transition out of the school day with adult supervision and movement.
Wash hands, eat something real, talk, and settle into a different pace.
A comfortable place and help when needed. If there is no homework, there is no forced academic block.
Outdoor play, games, art, building, cooking, books, quiet time, and choices based on interests.
Parent pickup anytime after the group returns, through 6:30 PM.
Who your child is with matters
Hi, I’m Heather, the owner and primary caregiver at Autumn Ridge Kids Club. I built Kids Club around the things I would want to know as a parent: who is picking up my child, what they are eating, whether homework has a place, and whether they still get time to just be a kid.
The group stays intentionally small so I can know the children in my care, notice how their day is going, and give parents a direct person to talk with—not a rotating front desk.
School-year tuition
Monthly tuition reserves your child’s regular spot. School-out workdays and Summer are separate.
Covers the school-to-workday gap with planned Black Ridge pickup and parent pickup through 6:30 PM.

When school is closed but work isn’t
On selected weekdays when Black Ridge is closed but working parents commonly still need care, Kids Club can offer a full-day option from approximately 7:00 AM–6:30 PM, with food included.
Add the full school-day hours when you need them.
For an additional enrolled sibling attending the same school-out day.
If space remains after enrolled families are served.
A full breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are included, along with outdoor play, projects, games, reading or quiet time, free choice, and plenty of movement. It is childcare for a day off—not all-day school.

The core program is for school-age children in grades 1–6 / approximately ages 6–12. Black Ridge is the school we provide transportation for, but children from other schools may join after school if a parent or authorized adult brings them to Autumn Ridge after dismissal.
Kids Club includes supervised Black Ridge pickup and a walk back together along the neighborhood trail. School-release permissions and the exact handoff procedure are completed with enrolled families before their first day.
If there is homework, there is time, space, and help available. If there is not, children can play, read, relax, create, build, go outside, or choose something that interests them.
After-school care runs from planned Black Ridge pickup through parent pickup by 6:30 PM. Before-school care is planned around an approximately 7:00 AM start and Black Ridge drop-off if that program launches.
Yes. Breakfast is included with before-school care and an afternoon snack with after-school care. Selected school-out workdays include food as well.
